PARDON MY CARBON

This series of oil pastel drawings explores dream imagery, invented mythologies, and hybrid figures that exist between memory and imagination. Dark, atmospheric compositions feature animal presences, shadow forms, and human-like beings suspended in ambiguous natural spaces. Recurring images such as horses, spectral figures, and solitary characters act as symbolic stand-ins for transformation, desire, mortality, and the human inevitability of leaving a trace. The title suggests both an apology and an acknowledgment of presence, where existential weight and absurdity quietly occupy the same imaginative space.
