Frames of Repair emerged from a communal walk through the ship repair district of Yeongdo in Busan. Working with 35mm film, participating artists documented the industrial waterfront, each responding to the environment in their own way. My photographs focus on overlooked harbor details, weathered surfaces, and subtle signs of labor and maintenance. Using film introduced a slower, more deliberate mode of looking, shaped by limited exposures and shifting light along the water. Through this process, repair began to register not only as a physical act but also as a quiet metaphor for endurance, adaptation, and human presence within working landscapes.
